House for Duty Assistant Priest: Revd. Hilary Evans. hilary@evanses.plus.com
Warden: Hugh Dunthorne.

St Cattwg's church, Port Eynon is dedicated to Cattwg the Wise of Llancarfan and is thought to have been founded during the 16th century by Cattwg's missionary in Gower, St Cenydd. In 1861 the church was enlarged and restored. An unusual feature of the church is the absence of both an east or west window. The photograph below shows Port Eynon church in the 1890s.

PORT EYNON CHURCH GRAVEYARD.
Due to the rocky strata beneath Port Eynon churchyard, and because of the volume of existing graves, it had been agreed that the churchyard will be closed to all future burials in new graves, save for the provision of re-opening of existing family graves and the burial of cremated remains in the Garden of Rest or in existing family graves.
